I sit and glance out of my window, wondering, waiting, hoping to see him,
Often a sign I see like a lighthouse shines to sailors at night.
Like the night, usually cold and crisp, a phantom who stole my heart,
Smiling and wanting to jump into his waiting arms, so giddy am I.

Light verses dark, cold verses hot, many thoughts race and my heart races,
A smile and a small squeal of happiness result when I see him close and smirking.
"Love me today for tomorrow I am yours" I state in bliss of the moment,
Happy to endure anything that comes from all this.

He kisses my lips, sending happiness throughout my body,
I am always happy to be in his arms, and talk all day.
Sighing as the day passes and turns into weeks,
The love grows steadily beautiful and ever more strong.
